Ultrasonic
thickness gauges are the optimum tool for finding the remaining wall thickness
of corroded or eroded metals such as found in steam and water piping, storage tanks,
pressure vessels, etc. and where access is limited to only one side of the
component. They can be used to measure most metals (forged, rolled, extruded, cast),
many plastics, ceramics and glass, plus some rubber and fiberglass (depending upon
composition). Some materials allow sound transmittal better than others and result
in more accurate and reliable measurements. Surface condition and temperature
variations will also affect thickness measurement.

NDT 705 is an inexpensive, easy to use thickness gauge for spot checking corroded or
eroded metals. It has been designed for the inspector who occasionally needs an accurate
instrumentand is not built to take the daily wear and tear of the full-time NDE
technician.

NDT 710 
The NDT 710
is a small hand held thickness gauge that is very easy to use for spot measurements of
corroded or eroded metals, plastics and many other materials. Gauge memory retains
last calibration and measurement reading even after the unit has been turned off.

NDT
715
The NDT 715 offers the same specifications as our
field proven 710 gauge. It is a small, hand held thickness gauge, only 2.5"W x
4.75"H x 1.25"D and weighing only 10 oz. It is designed to make reliable
spot check measurements an has a SCAN MODE that will capture and display the thinnest
measurement taken during a strip scan along a length of material. Housed in a
extruded, anodized aluminum housing with nickel plated aluminum end caps and a weather
resistant keypad the gauge is a bit more rugged than the 710 making it suitable for your
toughest working condition. The 715 is also more resistant to potential interference
from RFI fields than the 710.

NDT 815
A very versatile digital thickness gauge with
thickness,
A-Scan and B-Scan display and Data Logging Capability.
The adjustable square
wave pulser provides the flexibility necessary for both high resolution and penetration
requirements.
The NDT 815 is equipped
with multiple viewing options to provide users with a complete set of inspection tools:
(RF waveform, +/- Rectified waveform, Time based B-Scan, and Large Digits).
The A-Scan rectified mode is
commonly used for detecting flaws/pits in pulse-echo mode and measuring thru-paint and
coatings in echo-echo mode.
The time-based B-Scan feature of
the NDT 815 displays a cross section of the test material. It is commonly used to display
the profile of the bottom surface of the test material.
Built-in AGC gain control for
thru-paint measurements in multi-mode operation.
The variety of calibration
options is just one more example of NDT 815s overall versatility.
The NDT 815 has the ability to
store 64 custom user-defined setups. All factory setups can be selected, edited and saved
to any setup location.
The NDT 815 is equipped with an

The POCKETMIKE
A general purpose thickness gauge
that combines the instrument and transducer into a single package allowing true one hand
operation. The PocketMIKE is only 1.38" diameter x 4" long and is packaged
in a machined stainless steel housing environmentally sealed to IP67. The 4-button

Adjustable square
wave pulser provides the flexibility necessary for both high resolution and penetration
requirements.
Selectable viewing options provide the user with additional flexibility
during operation: (RF waveform, +/- Rectified waveform, and Large Digits with Scan Bar.
Time based B-Scan feature displays a cross section of the test material.
Displays the profile of the opposite surface of the material.
Adjustable resolution settings add to the PVX flexibility.
Ability to use a variety of single element transducers for specific
applications: Standard Delay Line (acrylic and graphite tips for metals and thin
plastics), Pencil Delay Line (tough access area on thin materials), and Contact
transducers (variety of applications).
Hardware AGC gain control for multiple echo and thru-paint measurement.
Multiple calibration options: One Point, Two Point, or selection from a
Material List.
16 factory setups and 48 user-defined setups. User defined setups can be
